Accreditation Grades

Accreditation Grades

To ensure a high standard of service quality and safety, all micro providers are required to meet specific accreditation requirements. The accreditation is organised into three tiered grades—T1, T2, and T3—with T1 representing the highest level of accreditation. The tier level awarded to a micro provider is determined by the quality and extent of verification they can demonstrate in key areas. Here's a breakdown of what each provider needs to know:

Core Requirements for All Micro Providers

Regardless of tier level, every micro provider must supply evidence of the following:

Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check

An Enhanced DBS check ensures that micro providers are screened thoroughly for any criminal background or other potential issues that might affect the safety of the individuals they serve.

Liability Insurance

This insurance provides essential protection, both for the provider and for the clients they support, in the case of any unforeseen incidents or accidents during the delivery of services.

These two documents are essential to be considered for any tier in the accreditation system.

Tier 1 (T1) – Highest Accreditation Level

T1 accreditation is awarded to providers who offer the highest standard of verification and documentation.

This includes providing comprehensive evidence of skills, references, continuous training, and any other relevant certifications that verify their qualifications and expertise. T1 micro providers demonstrate a robust level of quality and commitment to safety.

Post-Nominals: Once accreditation has been awarded, the post-nominal NAMP(T1) can be used after their name.

Option 1 £5.00 Monthly/£50.00 Annually

or

Option 2 £11.00 Monthly/£110 Annually (includes £1m Liability Insurance)

Tier 2 (T2) – Intermediate Accreditation Level

T2 providers meet all basic requirements and may provide some additional verification or documentation.

They offer a dependable level of quality, though the breadth of verification may be slightly less extensive than T1.

Post-Nominals: Once accreditation has been awarded, the post-nominal NAMP(T2) can be used after their name.

Option 1: £4.00 Monthly/£40.00 Annually

or

Option 2: £10.00 Monthly/£100  Annually (includes Liability Insurance)

Tier 3 (T3) – Entry-Level Accreditation

T3 providers meet the minimum required standards (Enhanced DBS and Liability Insurance) but may not have additional documentation to reach a higher tier.

They are still verified and trustworthy but may be newer providers or those with a simpler portfolio.

Post-Nominals: Once accreditation has been awarded, the post-nominal NAMP(T1) can be used after their name.

Option 1: £3.00 Monthly/£30.00 Annually

or

Option 2: £9.00 Monthly/£90.00 Annually

(includes Liability Insurance)
